Harriet Marie Van Farowe

Harriet Marie Van Farowe, age 103, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Porter Hills Village. The family praises the Lord for her sound mind and gracious spirit all the way to the end of her earthly life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Van Farowe in 1990, and by her brother, Roger Goossen. Surviving are two daughters, Ruth and Gordon Plaggemars, Barbara and Robert Holwerda; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and her special niece, Jan Meeuwsen. Harriet was the last living charter member of Hope Reformed Church. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 25th at the Meeting House of Porter Hills Village.  The family will receive friends there for one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Words of Hope or Other Way Ministries.
