Karin Lynne (Haga) Vander Berg

Karin Lynne Vander Berg (nee Haga) age 44, of Grand Rapids, struggled for several years with Auto Immune Disease and was called home on February 17, 2018.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Tanya Joy Hawkins; grandparents, Gordan and Alice Haga and Richard and Adrianna DeRidder.  Karin is survived by her husband Steffen, daughters, Makenzie and Shanice (Fiance Adam); stepchildren, Benjamin, Zachary and Abby; parents, George and Sharon Haga; brother in law, Joseph Hawkins; nephews, Jacob and Preston Hawkins; father and mother in law, Epke and Nita Vander Berg and many other family members.  Karin enjoyed riding her bike with her children, loved to vacuum and had an amazing and unique sense of humor.  A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday 11am at Ada Christian Reformed Church 7152 Bradfield SE Ada, MI 49301.  The family will greet friends on Tuesday from 7 to 9pm at the Metcalf & Jonkhoff Funeral Home and on Wednesday at the church from 9:30 to 11am.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to her children's education fund for college to be determined later.
