Marceline Adel Ziegler

Marceline “Marcie” A. Ziegler, age 84 passed away peacefully Friday, February 17, 2017 at Clark Retirement Community after a ten year struggle with Dementia/Alzheimer’s.  She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Margaret Piper, sister Sherry Chadbourne and youngest son Scott Ziegler.  Surviving are her husband of 66 years Richard B. Ziegler, sons Richard “Rick” Ziegler, Jon “Jeff” Ziegler, daughter Kimberly “Kim” Greenman, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. 

Although Marcie worked outside the home at various times in her life and contributed over 20 years of volunteer work at Butterworth Hospital, her main focus in life was always family and home.  We will always be so grateful for her love, support and fierce loyalty we unconditionally received.  She will be deeply missed by all of us.  The family would like to thank the Bristol staff at Clark for their kindness and compassion and Faith Hospice for their help in her last days.  In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date at New Day Church in Cascade.
