Millard B. Laramy

Millard B. Laramy Jr. passed away July 16, 2017 after a long battle with dementia.  He was proceeded in death by his Mother & Father Millard B. Sr. and Berniece Laramy and daughter Lee Ann Lachey.  He is survived by his wife Jean, daughter Stephanie Stafford and son Doug Laramy (Rick Lower).  Grand children, Justin and Aaron Stafford, Ashleigh (Zachary) Bleyerveld, Buck (Karen), Jared (Erin) Lachey and Lena (Andrew) Griggs, and precious great grandson Silas Bleyerveld, sister Sandra Ubaldo, niece and nephew Julie (Scott), Joe Ubaldo and Family, aunt Eleanor Klekotka Jones and Uncle Bernard Laramy, special godson Nathan Adolphson and special brother-in-law and sister-in-law George and Lorraine Zain and many nieces and nephews.  Millard was proud of his service in the National Guard and US Marine Corp.  He was a very quiet man who was very gifted with many talents.  Visitation will be held Tuesday July18, from 2 pm – 4 pm and 6 pm – 8 pm and the Trisagion service 7:30 pm, at St. Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Church, 2250 East Paris Ave., Grand rapids, MI.  Funeral services being held Wednesday July 19, 11 am at the church with visitation one hour prior to service time, with Father Michael Nasser, Father Elias Mitchell and Father Thomas Zain Officiating.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Church.
