Alyson Rose Knenlein

Alyson Rose Knenlein age 21, of Grand Rapids, went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 22, 2016, after being struck by lightning while lifeguarding.  Alyson is survived by her parents Natalie and Rob Uecker, brothers; Daniel Knenlein and Ethan Uecker, and cousin Iain Smith grandparents; Robert and Carolyn Long, Larry and Pat Uecker, Don and Bonnie Knenlein, aunts; Cherie (Trey) Smith, Laurie Uecker, Christine Knenlein, and other loving family.  Alyson was a very loving, adventurous and artistic young women who always had a smile and a moment for anyone.  A memorial service will be held 2pm on Saturday at the Metcalf & Jonkhoff Chapel.  The family will greet friends on Friday from 6 to 8pm at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to Calvary Local Missions P.O.
