I loved uncle Don! I'll never forget his laugh and smile and the way he'd tease a person. I always felt at ease around him. I miss the days when all of the Lebanese kin would gather and argue (and solve) all of the worlds problems - uncle Don was always in the middle of these, joking and arguing!
I'm so sorry I didn't make it back to Grand Rapids before he and uncle Ed passed. I always intended for my wife and daughters to get to know the "Michigan Family" and the rich family heritage that is there. I still plan to do this before much more time passes.
Aunt Phyllis, JJ, Jennifer and Cherese please accept my condolences and love. The world will not be quite as bright with Uncle Don missing but I think he'd want us to move forward with the same zeal for life he had, not forgetting but remembering and looking forward to the future and a great meeting in Heaven!
