Edna Jane Schorr

Edna Jane Schorr of Grand Rapids, Michigan, age 74, went to be with her Savior Friday morning, July 7, 2017, as the result of a sudden heart attack.  She was born the third out of four children on June 23, 1943, in Akron, Ohio.  She married John Schorr on May 29, 1965.  Edna is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, John, and siblings:  Jim (Eileen) Johnston, Sandy Huber, and Barbara (Bill) Bertsch.  She will also be lovingly remembered by her children and grandchildren:  Todd (Deb) Schorr and their children, Jacob and Cameron; Susan (Brian) Berce and their children, Peyton, Reagan, and Autumn; and Paul (Ann) Schorr and their daughter, Katie.  Edna was a long-time member of Calvary Church.  Visitation will take place at Metcalf & Jonkhoff Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 11, from 7:00-9:00 pm and Wednesday, July 12, and from 10:00-11:00 am at the church.  The celebration of Edna’s faithful service to her Lord will be held at Calvary Church on Wednesday, July 12, at 11:00 am, followed by a luncheon.  Those wishing to offer expressions of sympathy are encouraged to make a memorial contribution Calvary Church or to Grace Beyond at Calvary Church.
