A friend, mentor and father figure. George instilled his wisdom and passion for mankind in me throughout the past 18 years. A faithful and generous soul who touched many in such a positive way. I will be for ever grateful my friend! Rest in peace!

I am so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in God's sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible. (Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29) Those who are raised to life will have the prospect of never again being subject to misery, sickness, or death. (Revelation 21:4) I hope that reflecting on these thoughts will give you some relief during this difficult time.

George was a very kind man who made a habit of putting the needs of other first as is shown by his thousands of volunteer hours with various Grand Rapids agencies. Also, his unwavering support for law enforcement, even when it is not fashionable, was appreciated and will be missed. Rest in Peace ... for it is well deserved.
