Jessica Leanne Morton

Jessica Leanne Morton of Grand Rapids, Michigan, born May 4th, 1982, passed away unexpectedly on March 18, 2017, at the age of 34. She has found her peace outside of this world in the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Jessica was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Peacock, and her maternal grandmother, Millie Gillett, and her paternal grandparents, Ben and Doris Morton.

Jessica is survived and lovingly remembered by her two beautiful children, Benny (12) and Sofia (8); her mother Cathy Miller-Meyering and stepfather, Todd Meyering; her father Brett Morton and stepmother, Renee; her sister, Jennifer Peacock; her nieces Lindsey Secor, Bre Peacock, Elana Kavanaugh, Emma Kavanaugh; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  

Jessica was a graduate of Grand Valley State University and a 2000 Forest Hills Central graduate. She will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her. She was the kind of woman that made everyone around her feel accepted and loved. Her cheerful smile, kind heart and joyful spirit could light up any room. The joy of her life was her children. She will be remembered by many as an incredible mother and friend.

The family would like to invite all those who want to share in the celebration of her life to attend a service in her honor on Wednesday, March 29th at 3:00 p.m. at Keystone Community Church, 655 Spaulding Ave SE, Ada, Michigan 49301.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations be made in her memory, www.youcaring.com/bennysofiasymko has been established to support the future needs of her children.
