Nancy Ann (Nesbitt) Simkins

Nancy Ann Nesbitt Simkins, born May 26, 1924 in Grand Rapids, MI passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2015 in Grand Rapids, MI. She was predeceased by Richard, her husband of 20 years on February 26, 1984. She will be dearly missed by her step-son, Richard (Maria); grandchildren, nieces and nephews and their families; Steven (Jill) Nesbitt of Battle Creek, MI, and Naples, FL, Michele (Jim) Cooper and Mark, Marsha Bustraan, Linda (Bill) Soldaat, all of Grand Rapids, Steven (Melissa) Simkins of Lowell, MI and Bradley (Catherine) Simkins of Lowell, MI.  A graduate of Wyoming Park HS and a long-time employee of Union Bank, Nancy was an active member and supporter of Grace Episcoplal Church. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be a private memorial service. Interment will be in Graceland Memorial Park columbarium. In her memory, contributions are suggested to the Grace Church Endowment Fund or the American Red Cross of greater Grand Rapids.
