Phyllis M Smith

Phyllis Mae Smith of Grand Rapids, MI, age 87, went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 3, 2017.  She was proceeded in death by her son, Herbert Scott Hinckley.  Phyllis is survived by her loving daughter Shana L. Dykstra, son Steven J. Hinckley, five grandchildren, Jordan Dykstra, Robin Dykstra, Jennifer Powers, Eric Hinckley and Scottie Hinckley, brother Roy (Bobbie) Romanowski and many nieces and nephews.  Phyllis loved animals, especially her dog Gracie who was her light of her life.  Phyllis enjoyed working in her yard, she taught ballroom dancing, was a member of the Lions Club of Ada and enjoyed riding motorcycles.  A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 11:30am at Ada Bible Church 8899 Cascade Road SE, Ada, MI 49301.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Ada Bible Church, Harbor Humane Society in West Olive or Paws With a Cause.
