Dear Moana,
This morning I tried calling your father just to catch up on news. When both numbers were inactive, I looked him up on the internet, only to find that he died way back in 2017. I'm so sorry to lose a man whose company I always enjoyed, intermittent though it may have been. Whenever he came back for a Harvard event, we spent good times together.
i'm very sorry to offer my belated condolences, but do want to let you know how much I liked your dad. I'm so glad I got a chance to meet you over lunch at The Harvest in Cambridge, remember? Your father spoke to me often about you and his great pride in how you grew up to be a person he so much respected and loved.

What a surprise! One moment you were there Buzz, regaling me with great stories and anecdotes. I turned and you were gone.
I will miss you my friend! I didn't spend half as much time that I wanted to in your company, and unfortunately let a busy schedule keep me from relaxing at your cottage.
