Ruth served her community on the women’s board of the Betsy Mills Club, the House Corporation for Chi Omega Sorority and was a member of the Marietta Welfare League. She also was a 4-H leader and served on the American Cancer Society Board. In her spare time, Ruth enjoyed reading, playing cards, cooking, crossword puzzles, bible study, all college sports, especially WVU football/basketball and spending time with her family.
