Jeff Cornell

Jeffrey A. Cornell, age 54, of Cascade Township, Michigan left his earthly life for his heavenly home on Saturday, March 2, 2024. He will be deeply missed for his heart-filled laughter, big smile, and selfless kindness. Jeff was always willing to lend a hand and listening ear and was full of life. Jeff was preceded in death by his father, David Cornell; grandparents, Harold and Martha Schols, Edward and Doris Cornell. He is survived by his mother, Barb Cornell; aunts and uncles, Mary Schols, Nancie Anderson, Richard and Judith Bereza, Roger and Dawn Cornell, Bruce and Brenda Cornell, Mark Cornell; his stepsister, Lisa Smith; and by many cousins and wonderful friends. The family would like to give special thanks to Lacks Cancer Center physicians and nursing staff, BAMF Health at Doug Meijer Medical Innovation Building, his AA family, and Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods. Friends may meet with Jeff’s family on Monday, March 11, 2024, from 3 to 5 PM at the Metcalf & Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 4291 Cascade Rd. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546 where the service to celebrate Jeff’s life will take place on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, 1 PM with Rev. Jim Pollard officiating.
