Dennis Marvin House, 75, of Ada, MI went to meet his Savior on Friday, November 5, 2021. Dennis is survived by his wife of 46 years, Diane (Gahan); his brother Gary (Lori) House, sister Kellie Brandon, and sister-in-law Ginny Franks; nieces Jolie (Ross) O’Connor, Marilee (Adam) Wells, Hollie (Judd) Bagladi, Sheri (Brian) Snider, Michelle (James) Murphy, and Jennifer (Brandon) Lowe; nephew Jeremy House; many grand-nieces and grand-nephews as well as many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Monica House. Denny was a 1964 graduate of Grandville High School. He spent 30 years as a die-maker at General Motors until a brain tumor and resulting surgeries/treatments forced him into medical retirement. Throughout his years Denny found enjoyment in many things, especially in listening to classic country music, playing guitar, attending car races at Berlin Raceway, RV camping, vacationing in Nashville and Florida, and gathering with family for any occasion. Most of all, Denny enjoyed sharing his faith in Jesus Christ whenever he could and using his talents to serve in various Christian youth, music and gospel outreach ministries for many years. Denny was known by all as a kind, thoughtful and generous person. Diane wishes to give special thanks to Steve Beekman, Mindy Dunn, Ben Snider, and Michael Snider for their help over the years. Family and friends may meet with Denny’s family at Metcalf & Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 4291 Cascade Rd SE at 10am on Friday, November 12, with a celebration of life service at 11am. For those who wish, memorials may be made to Special Olympics Michigan Area 11.
