Diane Ruth Shane

Diane Ruth Shane, formerly of Park Ridge, Illinois passed away Friday July 22, 2022 at the age of 79.  She was born on March 12, 1943 in Jamestown, New York to the late Francis and Ann Chiappetta.  She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Tobi (James) Moreno, stepchildren Bryan (Lili) Shane, Ricki (Alan) Shane Craven, Elliot Shane; her grandchildren Gavin, Kane and Elliot Moreno; brother Francis (Barbara) Chiappetta, sister Carol Scalise, brother-in-law Michael (Paulette) Shane and sister-in-law Roberta Atlas. She was preceded in death by her husband Burton Howard Shane in 2002.  Diane was dedicated to her family.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend and caregiver who will be greatly missed.  A private service will be held at Oakridge Cemetery.  Please contact Tobi for any information.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
