Dot Crawford

Dorothy J. Crawford “Dot” passed away January 16, 2021 at the age of 92.  She was preceded in death by her husband Gordon and her two sisters, Caroline and Florence Grummet.  Dot is survived by her daughter Susan (Dennis) Conway of Lansing, son Roland Crawford of Ionia, grandchildren Amber Post and Derek Crawford, two great grandchildren, Raeli Heppe and Madison Vance.  Dot enjoyed sewing, cross stitch and spending time with her family at the cottage and watching sunsets.  She was a member of Amvets Post 30 for many years.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday at the Metcalf & Jonkhoff Funeral Home.  The family will greet friends on Sunday from 2 to 4pm at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions are suggested to Spectrum Health Hospice.  A celebration service for Dot is being planned this summer once covid restrictions are eased.
