Michael Gerald Devine

Michael Gerald Devine, age 67, of Grand Rapids passed away suddenly on July 7, 2020. Michael was born on May 12, 1953 in East Grand Rapids, the son of Robert and Catherine (Kane) Devine. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Dan Devine and Robert William Devine. He is survived by his sister, Ann Devine Wahl of Scotts Valley, CA.; his cousins, Christopher Oliver of Grand Rapids, and Mrs. Cindy Helm of Chicago.  Michael attended San Jose State University where he made life-time fraternity brother friends whom he would visit with when he took trips back to CA. to visit his sister. He was a huge Michigan State Football fan who could be found at many of their home games.  Michael worked as a salesman representing wood product manufacturers. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating Michael's life will be held at the Metcalf & Jonkhoff Chapel on Friday, July 24th. at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.  Leonard Sudlik, Presiding. Interment at Oak Hill Cemetery, Grand Rapids.  Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association.
