Aileen N. Smith - Wallis

Aileen Smith Wallis, age 92, of Grand Rapids, passed away on May 26, 2018.  She was born on January 7, 1926. She was a graduate of Butterworth Hospital School of Nursing and worked in the delivery room for several years. She was preceded in death by her son Brian David Smith, her husband William H. Smith, and her husband Todd Wallis. She is survived by her children, Patricia Chesher, William (Mary) Smith, Julie (Terry) Smith, and Thomas (Michelle) Smith; Nine grandchildren, Joseph, Daniel (Tracy) & Timothy Chesher, Joshua (Molly) Smith and Meghan (David) Wright, Mark (Joannah) Sheldon, Drew, Jack & Morgan Smith. Great grandchildren, Lila Chesher, Emmit & Hennrick Smith & Levi Wright.  Elizabeth, Renee, David, Abel, Marlin, & Carver Sheldon. Visitation will be Sunday June 3 from 2-4pm at the Metcalf & Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 4291 Cascade Rd SE, Grand Rapids MI 49546.
