Allan Evart Hineline, age 76, of Grand Rapids died peacefully at the Spectrum Health Meijer Heart Center surrounded by his loving family on July 2, 2017. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rebecca (Hineline) Bagge; his parents; Evart L. Hineline and Jeanne Bodaschko; half-brother Evart C. Hineline and half-sister Leora DeRuiter. He is survived by his devoted wife of 50 years, Paula; his son and daughter-in-law Bradley Allan and Amy Hineline; his granddaughters Arianna and Anya Hineline, who were the sunshine in his life and by his son-in-law James Bagge. He will also be lovingly remembered by his sisters, Nancy (Marvin) Adams; Ann (David) Stanfield and Chelli (Bill) Quiett. He will be greatly missed by his large extended family: brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Al’s greatest joy was spending time with his precious granddaughters. He was a loyal University of Michigan football, Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers Fan. He enjoyed being a member of the West Michigan Mustang Club. He was also an avid outdoorsman. He retired from the W. S. Reed Company in 1998. A memorial service will be held Saturday July 8, 2017, 12:00 noon, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1100 Lake Drive SE, Grand Rapids, Michigan 49506. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in his memory to Humane Society of West Michigan or Trinity United Methodist Church.
