Bill Satala

William Edward Satala, age 81, of Ada, MI passed away September 30, 2019 surrounded by his family.  Bill is survived by his loving wife, Lou of 58 years, two sons, Robert Brant and Jonathan Paul (Deborah) Satala, seven grandchildren, Mackenzie, Gabriel, Olivia, Alexis, Soren, Kelton and Asher, and his two sisters, Betty (George) Lyle and Bonnie (Jim) Fisher.  He was a former running back at Olmsted Falls High School in the Cleveland,OH area and was a member of their football Dream Team.  Bill proudly served in the U.S. Army and was a former Grand Rapids Power Squadron Commander.  He was a proficient harmonica player and was an avid boater and sailor.  A Memorial Service will be held 2pm on Thursday at the Metcalf & Jonkhoff Chapel.  The family will greet friends two hours prior to the service from 12 to 2pm at the funeral home.
