Brad Lee Cooper, 58, passed away unexpectedly at Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc, Michigan on Tuesday November 14, 2017. Brad was born to the late Ivan Eugene Cooper and Arlene Erhart in LaRue, Ohio on November 21, 1958. Brad spent the majority of his life in Columbus, Ohio and Grand Rapids, Michigan working as a successful salesman. Brad brightened the lives of everyone he met and he never met a stranger.  He held his family and friends dear to his heart and provided unwavering support as a father, son, brother, grandfather and uncle.  Brad enjoyed golfing, vacationing and faithfully cheering on his Buckeye’s.  Brad is survived by his daughter, Danielle (Gary) Popovits, mother, Arlene Erhart, brother, Chris (Kristin) Cooper, sister, Cheryl (John) Alles, grandchildren; Isaiah, Elliot, Owen, Willa, nephews Christian, Cy (Alyssa), Reece and his niece, Rachel (Brad).  Brad was preceded in death by his father, Ivan Eugene Cooper, and stepfather, Glenn Erhart.

Visitation for family and close friends will be held Friday, November 17th at 1pm with the funeral service beginning at 2pm at the Metcalf & Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 4291 Cascade Rd. S.E., Grand Rapids, MI 49546.   In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Brad’s name to Mental Health America.
