Constance Lee Johnson

Constance Lee Johnson (nee Hammer), 78 of Grand Rapids Township passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 20, 2017.  Connie was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Johnson and her son Brian J. Hayoz.  She will be deeply missed by her children Janice (Dave) Aussicker, Braden Hayoz and her step-children Lynne (David) Ike, Paul (Cindy) Johnson, Anne (Joe) Snyder, Phillip (Julie) Johnson, sister-in-law Janice Slater. Connie loved her family with all of her heart including her 23 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her companion of ten years, Ron Christensen and her longtime friend and housemate Diane DeVries.   A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 3:00 pm with visitation one hour prior to the memorial service at the funeral home.  Connie had great appreciation for the arts.  If you would like to make a memorial contribution, in lieu of flowers, please consider the Grand Rapids Symphony Foundation.
