Richard “Dick” Bruneau, age 78 of Ada, Michigan, passed away peacefully Friday afternoon, November 29, 2019. Born in Detroit on November 17, 1941, he was the son of Mary Jane and Richard Desire Sr. He lived in and around the Ada area for over 30 years. In that time he enjoyed working for Amway Corporation in various roles throughout his 30 plus year career.
Dick was a serious Michigan State Spartan fan and almost always sported his team’s gear in some form year-round. He also had an eye for fashion and often led the family on scouting trips to find the best deals from his favorite Polo brand. Dick was an avid reader, golfer, tool collector and carpenter who enjoyed doing most, if not all, of the renovations on his most recent home. He enjoyed participating in his grandchildren’s hobbies and activities from cars to sledding to playing games.

Dick’s funeral will be held at Forest Hills Baptist Church, 3900 Fulton St E., Grand Rapids, MI 49546, at 1 PM Thursday, December 5, 2019. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
