Evan Lintvedt passed away from a brief illness, September 15, 2018 at the age of 52. He was surrounded by his family and even one of his favorite dogs, Lucy. He was a generous, gracious soul who was loved by many and who will be deeply missed. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 24 years, Jenny, his daughter Annika, his father Richard Lintvedt, sisters Ane (Mark) Dulac (niece, Madeline Dulac), Greta Lintvedt (niece,Wednesday & nephews Max and Gunnar), his dogs Lucy, Ruby and Zoey. He was preceded in death by his mom Margaret “Peg” Lintvedt. He had many other extended family members who loved him greatly. Evan hired into the National Bank of Detroit in 1989, now JPMorgan Chase, and continued to work for the bank for 29 years. His enthusiasm and dedication to his career never wavered. He was a dedicated, loving and caring husband, father and friend. He always made sure his family was taken care of and provided much love, security, and support to his daughter Annika. He had a deep love for the Rocky Mountains, hiking in the woods with his dogs, bicycling, skiing and golfing. There will be Service/Celebration of Life for Evan Saturday, September 22, at 1:00 pm at the Fountain Street Church in downtown GR (24 Fountain St. NE, Grand Rapids – parking suggested in the GRCC parking ramp). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mackenzie’s Animal Sanctuary, 8935 Thompson Rd. Lake Odessa MI 48849.
