Irma M. Hogarth, age 99, of Grand Rapids passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Barton Hogarth; son, William Hogarth; granddaughter, Angela Hogarth; parents, Nandor and Anna Mitrocsak; sister, Edith Soherr; brother, William Mitrocsak and sister-in-law, June Mitrocsak. Surviving are her son, Barton (Kathie) Hogarth; her daughter, Barbara A Hogarth DVM; grandson, Barton Hogarth; granddaughter, Rebecca Vinson; 3 great-grandchildren, Rylan, Logan, and Kyler Vinson; nieces and nephews, Nancy, Janet, Bob, Bill Mitrocsak and her Friday Night Girls. Irma was a former member of Grace Episcopal Church where she was a volunteer choir member and soloist for 54 years. She also served with the St. Elizabeth Guild and tutored reading for adults and children. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday February 3rd at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 5333 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to SECOM: 1545 Buchanan, SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49507 or Humane Society of West MI.
