Jack R Fletcher

Jack R Fletcher passed away on March 30 after a long and happy life.  Jack was born in 1921 in Grand Rapids, Michigan where he lived with his wife, Lora, and their three children.  They then moved to Bay City, Flint, Traverse City, and Saginaw.  In 1979 Jack and Lora retired together and spent many wonderful years at their home on Wells Lake near LeRoy, Michigan.  Jack loved the outdoors, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and visiting with friends and neighbors.  He lived for six years at Heather Hills Retirement Village where he made many new friends and enjoyed participating in many community activities.  Jack is survived by his children Dana and Jay DeGroot, Gordon and Barbara Fletcher, Jay Fletcher and Jeff Slattery.  Jack was also blessed with five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.  A private family service was held.  If you would like to make a memorial contribution, the family suggests the chapel at Heather Hills.
