Gabriela and I were saddened learning of Kay's passing. Since we lived in the Plaza Towers Condos we were long time friends of Kay's. We would usually meet her sitting in "her" chair in the Condo lobby. Conversations would range from asking about her health, politics, grocery shopping, etc. Gabriela would take Kay to the mall or grocery store when asked plus Gabriela also took care of Frankie when Frankie needed a babysitter. Kay and I would talk about Canton, IL. where she went to high school. My aunt was two years behind Kay plus I grew up in Canton, IL.
We are sorry that we can't attend the memorial in Plaza Towers this weekend since we are currently in Virginia until the end of the month. We will be thinking of Kay, however. She was a great friend and we will miss her.
