Michael C. Griffin

Michael C. Griffin age 75, of East Grand Rapids, died on February 24, 2018.  He is survived by his brother, Robert (Sandra) Griffin of Fruitport; sister, Kathrin Axline of Tampa, FL and three nephews and a niece.  Mike graduated from East Grand Rapids High School and Michigan State University.  He was employed by Lear Corp. and Amway Corp.  Mike was a unique individual who loved his dogs and was a friend to any rescue that came his way.  He will be truly missed by all who were close to him.  The family will greet friends on Thursday from 1 to 3pm at Metcalf & Jonkhoff Funeral Service.  Memorial contributions may be made to Mackenzie’s Animal Sanctuary or the Humane Society of West Michigan.
