Nancy Kay Dailey of Grand Rapids, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, June 30, 2018. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents Jay and Leona Groendyke, William Dailey, son Johnathan Dailey and special friend JP Lacks. She is survived by her children James (Cynthia) Dailey of Grosse Ile, and Jocelyn Dailey Brophy of Punta Gorda, FL, and grandchildren Jack, Isabel, Macaulay and Evangeline, brother Jay (Barb) Groendyke Jr. and sister Susan (Vince) Verwys of Grand Rapids, nieces, Brecken (David) Grieve of Grand Rapids, Brooke (Len) Vining of Grand Rapids, Leischen (Max) Hunsicker of Austin, TX, and nephew Bryan (Marisa) Verwys of Grand Rapids, and care giver Julia Morrison. Nancy was one of the original founders of Meals on Wheels. She also had many other interests including, Ikebana, reading, traveling around the world, painting, and gourmet cooking. Nan loved her Friday night gatherings with close family and friends. She will be missed by all.
A celebration of Nancy’s Life is being planned for family and friends.
