After a long and wonderful life, Priscilla Goodspeed Shuart, age 86, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2017, with her family by her side. Her loving husband, David E. Returning to the United States, Priscilla worked on the staff of a lifestyle magazine in New York City, and then moved back to Grand Rapids in the fall of 1954 to marry David. A devoted wife and mother, she enjoyed art, gardening, reading, and spending long summer days with her family at their Lake Michigan cottage. Shuart, Jr. (Diane); and by her eight grandchildren, Sarah Lambert (Wesley) and Stephen Matthews (Tiffany); Emily Hakim (Andrew), Daniel Shuart (Dena) and Alison Shuart; Natalie Shuart, Caroline Shuart and Benjamin Shuart; as well as her four great grandsons, other relatives, and friends.
