Scott Attwood Norris, age 52, and a long-time resident of the Grand Rapids area, passed away on March 24, 2019, at a very special foster care home in Greenville, Michigan. Scott’s mother, Jean, and her husband, Gene F. Miller, of Kalamazoo, were present with Scott as the kidney disease that he had endured finally ended his life. Scott’s sister Pamela Kay, although living far away, was very supportive to her brother throughout his life and time of illness.
In earlier years, as an art student at Forest Hills Central High School in Grand Rapids, Scott had created drawings and paintings that were reflective of his life challenges and views. In his later years, Scott lived in a very caring, special foster care setting in the Grand Rapids area.
At his death, Scott leaves his parents, several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews in Texas, Illinois, and Michigan. Scott’s cousin, Dillon Kay, resides in California, following his recent graduation from Drexel University.
