Spyro A. Lambros

Spyro A. Lambros age 88, of Grand Rapids formerly of Ann Arbor, passed away on April 16, 2019 surrounded by his family.  He was preceded in death by his daughter, Andrea.  Spyro is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Martha Fotis-Lambros, children; Christopher Lambros, James (Leesa) Fotis, George (Amy) Fotis, Lydia Fotis-Sweetman (Ryan Taylor), Martita Fotis, 12 grandchildren and his sister Nitza Lambros and other family members.  Spyro proudly served his country during the Korean War.  He was a devoted Michigan Wolverine sports fan.  He was a gentle soul who always had a smile and brought joy to those he came in contact.  The family will greet friends on Friday from 3 to 6pm at the Metcalf & Jonkhoff Funeral Home and on Monday at the Muehlig Funeral Chapel in Ann Arbor from 2-5pm with a Trisagion Service at 5pm.  The funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday April 23, 2019 at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 3109 Scio Church Rd., Ann Arbor, MI 48103.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Nicholas Church or to the Leukemia Society.
