Carole J. Brown

Carole J. Brown, 78, of Ada, passed away peacefully February 16, 2020.  She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Brown, and her mother, Marian Warwick.  She is survived by her children, Kris Brown of Grand Rapids, Kathy (Peter) Loudon of Livonia, and Kelly (Jon) Brown Larsen of Caledonia; grandchildren, Kevin Brown, Kate Brown Larsen, Cody, Kyle, and Lucy Damron; brother and sister-in-law James and Jean Warwick of Wyoming, MI, sisters-in-law Marilyn (Jeff) Satyshur of Indiana, Jackie Wilson of East Grand Rapids; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Carole worked at Bazen’s Shoes, Mullers Shoes, and Mieras Family Shoes for many years.

Members of the family will receive relatives and friends at the Metcalf & Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 4291 Cascade Rd SE, on Wednesday, February 19th, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.  A private family funeral service for Carole will be held at a later date.  The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Faith Hospice (faithhospicecare.org/give).  We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the staff at Faith Hospice and Sunrise Senior Living.
