Charles Ray Felix passed away on September 17th, 2021 after a strong and challenging fight with cancer. He was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on July 18, 1947 and adopted and raised by loving parents, Ray and Ruth Felix. Chuck was a high school graduate of Grand Rapids Christian, where he was a devoted member of the swim team. He later graduated from Hope College in Holland, Michigan in 1969. Chuck proudly served in the US Army Reserve for 5 years after graduation. His career path led him to Universal Forest Products where he was a devoted sales executive for 29 years. After retiring in Naples, Florida, Chuck quickly realized that retiring was impossible. He launched a successful second career as a realtor with John R. Wood for 20 years. He was a born salesman, a true go-getter, and a passionate storyteller. He prided himself on helping others to succeed and always trying to do the right thing. Outside of work, Chuck loved being on the water, at the beach, and in Grand Haven in particular. He was a semi professional golfer (according to some) and avid scuba diving enthusiast. Until the end Chuck was a stubborn fighter and never a quitter. He is survived by his wife, Patricia, brother Thom, sister-in-law Lynn, his beloved children Christopher (Karen), Todd and Kathryn (Glenn), and 7 grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by so many until we can all meet again.
