Charles T. Lovett

Charles “Charlie” T. Lovett, age 82, passed away on Dec. 24th, 2018. He was born November 11, 1936 in Kalamazoo, MI.  He is preceded in death by his parents and two siblings, and is survived by two siblings, Penny and Emily.

Charlie and his wife, MaryLou (Shilling) Lovett, were married 61 years.  He is survived by his wife and his children Jane Lovett, John Lovett, son-in-law Doug Wondergem, daughter-in-law Rhonda Lovett, three grandsons and a great-grandson.

Charlie and MaryLou recently relocated to Grand Rapids, MI, having lived for twenty-nine years in Littleton, CO.  Charlie was a very spiritual man, with a love of music, and a fantastic gift of humor.

A memorial service will be held at Metcalf & Jonkhoff, 4291 Cascade Rd SE, Grand Rapids, MI on January 18, 2019 at 3pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Charlie’s name to the Grand Rapids Symphony or Heifer International.
