Cheng Yang is resting with God in heaven as of January 9, 2021 at the age of 68. Cheng had a gentle, humble heart and often expressed that he was saved by the grace of God. Cheng and his wife of 46 years, Lee, had three sons Daniel, Jimmy (Judy), and Paul (Maivzej). He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, three sons, three brothers, three sister-in-laws, and 7 grandchildren.
Cheng was amongst the greatest of teachers before seeking refuge in the United States. He was conversant in 5 languages. He shared his love of math and God to all he met. In 1996, he started a restaurant to share his love of food with the world until he retired. During his retirement, he continued to devote his life to God, family, and friends until God took him to be with the Lord. Cheng seized every moment to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and is now face to face with his maker.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2021 from 9am to 2:30pm.
