Clark "Skip" Weymouth

Clark (Skip) Weymouth, aged 93, of Cascade Township, passed away on March 30, 2025 at home. He is survived by the family he loved so much: his beloved wife of 65 years, Carol (Crandle); daughter Anne (Robert) Dowsett of Grand Rapids and sons Daniel and Mark (Cari) Weymouth of Wyoming; grandchildren Mark Dowsett and Jennifer Pawelka; brother Theodore Weymouth of Fort Lauderdale, FL; ten nieces and nephews.  His sister Harriet Cavalli preceded him in death.

Skip was born in Evanston, IL, raised in Rochester, NY, graduated from Dartmouth College and served in the U.S. Air Force. He spent most of his working career in the hospital supply business, notably in sales with Johnson & Johnson’s Hospital Division and in operations with White & White Medical Supply in Ann Arbor. Moving to Grand Rapids with White & White in 1987, he retired ten years later and started “Musical Memories”, a keyboard-driven sing-along program exclusively for local senior organizations which he loved doing and which also brought him together with “The Laughing Stock Comedy Troupe” with whom he played transitional music. He was an Advisory Council member of the Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), a tram driver at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park, a publicity volunteer for the West Michigan Jazz Society, and an unabashed golf nut and player of some talent in his younger days.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Skip’s life will be held at a later date.  Burial will be in Cascade Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be made to Faith Hospice for their exceptional and loving care or The E.
