Dale Howard Moore

Dale Howard Moore, age 82, of Grand Rapids, MI peacefully passed away at home with his family by his side on Saturday, July 22, 2023. Born on November 19, 1940, in Grand Rapids, MI, he was the son of Howard and Florence (Parker) Moore. Dale had a personality that was larger than life. He was not afraid or intimidated by what came his way. He was a devoted family man and a man who had faith in his God, Jehovah. Those who knew Dale, knew they were in the presence of a man they would not soon forget. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ruby; three daughters: Stacey (Terry) Smith, Shannan (Rich) Smith, and Shelley (Eric) Ouderkirk; six grandchildren: Kevin (Kylie) Moore, Samantha (John) Lance, Rebeca (Miguel Martinez) Ouderkirk, Evan Smith, Jack Smith, and Ashlyn Smith; five great-grandchildren: Taylor, Billy, Maverick, John and Oliver; his brother, Roland (Mary) Moore; extended family and many dear friends he made throughout his travels as well as having lived or traveled in 49 of the 50 U.S states. Dale was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Harry Moore, and by his niece, Sharon Siesling. 

A Memorial Service for Dale will be held on Monday, August 14, 2023, 6:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1250 Spaulding Ave. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546 where friends may gather with the family beginning at 4:30 pm prior to the service. There will also be a Zoom video provision for the service. Please contact the family for further information. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Jehovah's Witnesses or to the A. Raymond Kalliel Hospice Foundation, 1971 E. Beltline Ave. NE Ste 219, Grand Rapids, MI 49525.
