Dale Warren Robart II passed away on August 3, 2025 at the age of 77. He was born in East Grand Rapids on May 27, 1948 to the late Dale and Irma Robart.
Dale will be lovingly remembered by his grateful wife of 49 years Sandi Robart, brother Steven (Sandra L.) Robart, sister Connie (Brian) Demmink, sister-in-law Christina Robart, brother-in-law Charles Tuschling and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Lary W. Robart.
Dale dedicated his life as an architect. After graduating from Lawrence Tech in 1972, he apprenticed for 20 years with Grand Rapids’ best architects and went on to own Image Architecture for 30 years. He was a devout Christian and was a very active member of Messiah Lutheran Church where he served many roles, his latest as church Treasurer. Dale loved to sing. He had a beautiful high tenor voice. He also loved cars, especially Buicks and could identify any car on the road. He was a loving husband, brother and friend who will be greatly missed.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 4-7pm Thursday at the Metcalf and Jonkhoff Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. The funeral service will be held at 11am on Friday August 8th at Messiah Lutheran Church, 2727 5 Mile Rd NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525, with Rev. Eric Black officiating. Interment at Rosedale Memorial Park. Memorial contributions in Dale’s name may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church.
