David Jeffrey Ripley

David Jeffrey Ripley, age 41, of Holland, MI passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 16, 2026.  After many years of illness, hospitalizations and suffering, God reached down, brought his child up to heaven and blessed him with a whole and healthy body.  David was born on October 30, 1984 in Butler County, OH and adopted by Jeff and Kathy (Nibbelink) Ripley at two days old.  He is survived by his parents, Jeff and Willow Ripley, John and Kathy Nibbelink; son, Beau Ripley; and grandmother, Adele Ripley as well as numerous, loving siblings, aunts, uncles and cousins.  

David’s family will greet friends at the Metcalf & Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 4291 Cascade Rd. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546 on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM with a Time of Reflection at 11:30 AM with Pastor Nick of Holland Central Wesleyan Church. In lieu of flowers, donations in David’s memory are being set up for his son, Beau Ripley’s college fund.
