Donald Denison Obituary

Donald L. Denison passed away on Wednesday January 26, 2022, at the age of 84.  Don was preceded in death by his wife Roberta “Bobbie” Denison in 2017 and his parents, Donald and Vera Denison and sister Arlene Eggleston.  Surviving are his children, Kim (Pat) Powers, Kurtis Denison (Robert Warren), Kipp Denison, Kristin (Tom) Jesser, Mike (Allison) Reed, Christina (Michael) Green, Jon (Courtney) Reed and Donald Denison II, brothers, Jim (Ruth) and Mike (Cora) Denison.

Don had a life long love of woodworking and crafted fine furniture that rivaled what could be purchased in a store. He also enjoyed working in his yard and especially enjoyed watching his hydrangeas bloom.  Don spent many years touring the countryside on his beloved Gold Wing motorcycle.  Don was employed by Fisher Body/General Motors for over 40 years, where his craftsmanship showed through and helped mentor many an apprentice.   He was a people person and loved talking to people he met on his daily walks.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 29, 2022 at 11:00 am at Metcalf & Jonkhoff Funeral Home, with a visitation one hour prior to the funeral service.  Interment will take place at Graceland Memorial Park.
