Emily Pennington

Emily Budden Pennington:  It is with great sadness that the family of Emily Budden Pennington announce her passing.  On January 9, 2020. Emily passed away suddenly in Grand Rapids.  Emily was born May 14, 1961 in Detroit. Emily will be forever remembered by her precious children, Sarah and Drew, by her parents Dr. Arthur and Jean Budden, and by her brother Doug (Joan) Budden, and her sister Laura (Patrick) Fenton. Emily will be loving remembered by numerous nieces, nephew and extended family and dear friends.  Emily spent her professional career of over 30 years giving of her time and talents to children with special needs.  She worked within the Grand Rapids public school system with much of her career at Lincoln School.  A visitation celebrating Emily’s life will be held from 3-6 PM on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at Metcalf & Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 4291 Cascade Road SE, Grand Rapids, Michigan. A church service will be held on Monday, January 13, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Mayflower Congregational Church, 2345 Robinson Road, SE, Grand Rapids, Michigan.
