Jerry Whitten

Gerald L. Whitten was born August 19, 1930 in Greenville, MI, to the late Lester and Edith Whitten.  He passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2020, at age 89.

Jerry proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.  He retired, after many years, as President of Creative Foam Corporation in Fenton, MI.

Jerry is survived by his son Rick (Bonnie) Whitten, their children, Cory (Erica) Whitten and Jason (Kristin) Whitten, granddaughter Jessica (Erik) Mohan, step daughter Leisa Carr, sister Pat Kurzynowski, brother-in-law Terry (Linda) Adams, sister-in-law Dee (Dick) Housenkamp, plus eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  Jerry was preceded in death by his loving wife of 39 years, Beverley Whitten.

Jerry’s family would like to thank his special friends Dick and Julie Ryan, the caregivers from Clark Retirement Community and Hospice of Michigan.  In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held later.  Memorial contributions may be make to Hospice of Michigan.
