Julia Wirth Obituary

It is with a very heavy heart that I let my friends know of the passing of my one and only lifetime partner, Julia Wirth. My life will never be the same without this gentle soul in my life. Julie was an esteemed scientist and Ph.D. epidemiologist, recently retired from Michigan State University. An accomplished watercolorist, as well, Julie created paintings that are a testament to her glorious world view. Three critters: two golden retrievers, Jazz and Darby, and a three-legged kitty, Lily, make their home at Casa Julie-Mary. In lieu of flowers we would like any funds to be sent to the Healey ALS Platform Trial out of Massachusetts General in Boston. This horrific disease needs to be stopped.
