Justin Charles Drumheller

Justin Charles Drumheller, 45, of Cheboygan and formerly Gladstone, Michigan, passed away on January 27, 2026.

Born on June 20, 1980, at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Justin was the beloved son of Mary Lynne (Reid) and Timothy Drumheller. He grew up with a keen mind and a passion for learning, eventually attending Fairfield College Preparatory School before attending both Michigan State and Ferris State University.

A gifted software engineer for over 20 years, Justin was known for his technical expertise and dedication to his craft. When not behind a screen, he was most at home in the great outdoors. He found peace and joy in the simple pleasures of fishing and hiking, often accompanied by his loyal German Shepherds, Bullett and Neptune, whom he loved dearly.

Justin is survived by his devoted parents, as well as many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roseanne and Bill Reid, Chic and Chuck Drumheller; and his aunt, Linda Ogger.

The family will receive friends and relatives at Metcalf & Jonkhoff Funeral Service in Grand Rapids on Thursday, February 12, 2026. Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm, followed by a 1:00 pm prayer service and an on-site luncheon.
