Kevin P. Flood DDS

Kevin Patrick Flood, a man with a personality almost as big as his heart, gave his final Irish goodbye on August 10th, 2019. Eldest son to the late John and Betty Flood, and big brother to the late Megan Flood, he is survived by his dear siblings Brigid, Patrick, and Sean Flood, and loving father to Morgan, Connor, Curtis, and Patrick, and Goofy Uncle Kevin to Ryan, Aidan, Kelsey, Shannon, Liam, Colleen, Erin, and Gavin Flood, and Reilly and Connor McGarr.

Kevin was caring, compassionate and astoundingly positive to every human that he encountered. As a homeopathic healer, world traveler, nature lover, vitamin enthusiast, and with a personality that was larger than life, he had a certain type of energy that brightened every space he entered. He graduated from the University of Illinois dental school in 1984 and began his career as a holistic dentist. He naturally loved and recognized the unity of the body and mind, and the profound influence those two have on each other when it comes to healing. Kevin opened his own dental practice in 1986 and he shared his knowledge, expertise, and heart with us all.

The family invites those who were impacted by the warm love Kevin shared to be celebrated on Friday, August 16th, 2019, from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at St. George Banquet & Conference Center, 334 La Grave Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503. Stories and memories from loved ones will be shared from 4:15 - 5:00pm. They encourage you to honor his free spirit by wearing a Hawaiian shirt.
