Lee Carrick Koets, age 81, peacefully passed away on September 28th 2023. He is survived by his loving wife, Anneli (Korhonen) Koets, of 61 years, son Bryan (Sarah) Koets, daughter Rebecca Koets, and grandchildren Andrew and Josh (Koets), Parker and Ella (Zimmerman), sister and brother-in-law Sally and Diz Howard, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers and sister-in-law Bert and JoAnn Korhonen, Don Korhonen, and grandson Perry Zimmerman. He was the best husband, father, grandfather, and friend anyone could have (… ) you could always count on him for a good laugh.
Family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, October 6th at Mayflower Congregational Church, 2345 Robinson Rd. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49506, starting at 10 prior to the 11am service. Those who wish may make a memorial contribution to Mayflower Congregational Church.
