Lila Ruth Venneman

Lila Ruth Venneman passed away on Sunday August 13, 2023 at the age of 100.  She was born in Grand Rapids to the late William and Lelia Venneman on September 25, 1922.  She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews, Sandy Bono, Bill (Joyce) Venneman, Randy (Marge) Venneman, Ron (Luanne) Venneman, Rick (Lisa) Venneman, Robin (Dave) Zylstra, Raschae Venneman and several great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews who she cherished dearly.  Lila was preceded in death by brothers, Blain, Bud and Leo Venneman and one sister, Jean Cole.  Lila loved her family, especially her time spent on the family farm, was an avid softball fan, enjoyed crocheting and was a long time member of Cascade Christian Church.  Funeral services will be held at 4pm on Thursday August 17th at the Metcalf and Jonkhoff Funeral Home with Pastor Jill Forton officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment in Cascade Cemetery.  For those who wish, memorials may be made to Samaritas Senior Living of Grand Rapids.
