Linda Lou Manica passed away on October 5, 2025 at the age of 75. She was born March 8, 1950 in Niles, MI to the late Manlif and Josephine Meek. Linda will be lovingly remembered by her husband of nearly 55 years Michael Manica, son Joseph Manica (Allison), daughter Sarah Partridge (Scott), grandchildren Catherine, Lilly, Sophie, and Theodore, and sisters Elizabeth (Richard Duemler) and Susan Meek.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents Manlif and Josephine Meek, and brother John Meek.
Linda was a graduate of Michigan State University and a dedicated elementary school teacher at Ada Elementary for many years. Linda found joy in cooking for her family, traveling the world with her husband, and learning how to paint. She loved making birthdays and holidays special, but truly loved Christmas with the presents, baking, decorating. Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Taking care of her family was a passion.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 10, at 11:00am with a visitation at 10:00am at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 6390 Belmont Ave NE, Belmont, MI 49306. Interment will be at Plainfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Krause Memorial Rockford Library.
